The winner of the NFL's Social Super Bowl is...
Last night was the biggest day of the year for many in NFL social media. Here's how all 32 franchises fared...
Welcome back to Club Sportico, where we break down the intersection of sports and money—with an extra bit of humor and opinion. Today, we rank all 32 NFL social media teams…
If you spent any time on social media last night, you undoubtedly noticed that NFL teams have released their 2025 schedules. Over the past few years, this announcement has turned into one of the most important days of the year for people who work in an NFL team’s social media, marketing or ticket sales departments.
Some teams spend months—and tens of thousands of dollars—to craft their release video. When it goes well, it can go mega-viral. When it goes poorly, it becomes an internet laughingstock (or requires an apology, evidently!).
We watched all 32 videos last night, and all three of us rated them from 1-10. What follows is Club Sportico’s power rankings, from worst to best. Click on any team name to watch.
32. Detroit Lions — Club Sportico rating: 2.33
ZZZZzzzzzZZZZzzzz...
31. Pittsburgh Steelers — Club Sportico rating: 2.83
What in the world?? (!) We asked a Steelers fan, and this was his response: "It's almost like no one is quarterbacking these releases... Get it…"
30. Dallas Cowboys — Club Sportico rating: 3
Good thing this team is worth $10.3 billion.
29. Miami Dolphins — Club Sportico rating: 3.16
Starts out interesting, with plenty of sizzle, but never quite reaches a satisfying climax. Screams 8-9.
28. Green Bay Packers — Club Sportico rating: 3.5
Done as a dream sequence. We wish he woke up sooner.
27. Jacksonville Jaguars — Club Sportico rating: 3.83
A very niche online joke. The first comment on this Jaguars post is: "Season hasn’t even started yet and the jaguars are 0-1 just for this". The rest are similar.
26. Tampa Bay Buccaneers — Club Sportico rating: 4.16
TEN MINUTES?! Jon Gruden is dynamic, and parts of this video are fun, but no one asked for this.
25. New York Jets — Club Sportico rating: 4.5
Great idea, rough execution. Not the first time the Jets looked better on paper.
24. New York Giants — Club Sportico rating: 4.66
Any team could have made this. There's a reason no one else did.
23. Cleveland Browns — Club Sportico rating: 5
Is this the first ASMR schedule release? We get the sense we’re missing something here, but we can't look away.
22. Los Angeles Rams — Club Sportico rating: 5
The Rams have a second one, based on memes, that is actually better than the main one (which stars an actress none of us really knew). Watch that instead.
21. Cincinnati Bengals — Club Sportico rating: 5.16
Bucks a trend by giving away the goods in the first 30 seconds. The conceit is smart, but it’s hard to make it through the next three minutes.
20. Seattle Seahawks — Club Sportico rating: 5.33
We legit thought they were calling the team the "Hogs" throughout this video. This probably would’ve jumped a bunch of spots if the average grader was five years older.
19. Washington Commanders — Club Sportico rating: 5.33
This is the most common theme. Pick a TV show or video game from 20 years ago, and mirror the style. This one doesn’t quite work for all of us.
18. Minnesota Vikings — Club Sportico rating: 5.5
Are these tattoos real?? If so we’d like it more.
17. Denver Broncos — Club Sportico rating: 5.83
Pretty boring until the 1:20 mark when it stars a BABY MASCOT!
16. Carolina Panthers — Club Sportico rating: 5.83
Simple formula--let your players have some fun. If we were Panthers fans and knew who these guys were, we’d probably love it.
15. San Francisco 49ers — Club Sportico rating: 6.16
Katy Perry catching strays! Da Pope! This Oregon Trail spoof has a lot of funny moments.
14. Houston Texans — Club Sportico rating: 6.16
Good stuff. Would love to know how many of these people Eben could recognize. (Editor’s note: Dennis Quaid and Ryan Trahan. I'm cool!)
13. Philadelphia Eagles — Club Sportico rating: 6.33
When you're the defending champs, maybe this is really all you need...
12. Buffalo Bills — Club Sportico rating: 6.5
Tired pun, a little slow, but you can't go wrong with hyping Josh Allen, who’s used to carrying Bills efforts on his shoulders already.
11. Chicago Bears — Club Sportico rating: 7
Assuming all these Ben Johnsons are real, we like it!
10. Atlanta Falcons — Club Sportico rating: 7.16
Now this is proper nostalgia! Why doesn't the NFL have a Mario Kart collab??
9. Kansas City Chiefs — Club Sportico rating: 7.33
Also good nostalgia. But this time with trivia!
8. New England Patriots — Club Sportico rating: 7.5
Genius. We need egg drop at the 2026 Pro Bowl.
7. Las Vegas Raiders — Club Sportico rating: 7.5
Raiders fans seem to love this. We don't get a lot of it, but we like that they're hyped.
6. New Orleans Saints — Club Sportico rating: 7.5
If you remember Terry Tate, office linebacker, then this is the video for you. It feels specifically made for journalists, but it has strong moments. We can think of quite a few coaches that need a translator (and maybe a couple columnists who could use one too).
And now, our Top 5…
5. Baltimore Ravens — Club Sportico rating: 7.66
A parody of a very popular (and very good!) TV show. Not sure it needs to be this long, but we like it.
4. Indianapolis Colts — Club Sportico rating: 8
This video starts with an absolutely shocking callback. If we were the NFL we’d be pissed—and the team later apologized to both Tyreek Hill and Microsoft—but as independent observers, we applaud the edge.
3. Arizona Cardinals — Club Sportico rating: 8.16
Love this concept. Cardinals LB Mack Wilson Sr. apparently wrote and performed this rap song. It's not going to dominate Spotify, but Lil Wayne would also suck at football.
2. Tennessee Titans — Club Sportico rating: 8.16
The Titans are better at these videos than they are at football. This is clever and an immediately recognizable parody for anyone who watches games on Sunday.
1. Los Angeles Chargers — Club Sportico rating: 8.66
The kings of the Easter Eggs deliver at 2:50 (or if you're a hockey fan, at 1:55). There’s a ref with the Chiefs, a Saquon ghost haunting the Giants, and a joke about that Bears DB who celebrated with fans during a game-losing Hail Mary. Bravo ⚡!
The internet agrees!
