2025 was another historic year in this crazy industry. Sports teams made a lot of money, sold for a lot of money, and paid a lot of money to their athletes and coaches. Fans watched a lot of sports, paid a lot to stream them, and at a certain tennis tournament in New York City, drank a whole lot of specialty vodka cocktails. It was the year of women’s sports, of the sports betting scandal, and of Kalshi’s meteoric rise.
